Meeting Announcement Flyer

Transportation and quality of life go hand in hand. The five-year update of the Cobb County Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) will identify local transportation priorities for unincorporated Cobb County and the Cities of Acworth, Austell, Kennesaw, Marietta, Powder Springs and Smyrna that are grounded in the community’s overall vision and plans for the future.

The update of the Cobb CTP is a collaborative process being carried out by Cobb County in coordination with Cobb County’s municipalities.

The planning process was initiated in May 2013 with targeted completion in September 2014.

A key objective of the Cobb County CTP is to ensure that our County’s quality of life is strengthened by a well-planned transportation network that meets the needs of the community’s vision for the future. The priorities identified and confirmed through the CTP study process will inform local and regional planning initiatives and help target public transportation investments.

The planning process includes a large public involvement component. Please visit the Get Involved page to learn about ways to become involved and to provide input now via the "We're Listening" comment form.
